United Financial Investments Company (UFICO) was established in 1980 and was later listed in 1996 under the ticker UCFI. UFICO is recognized as one of the leading investment banking firms in Jordan, offering brokerage services supported by the latest technologies and direct connectivity to global financial markets. In 2002, UFICO became a subsidiary of Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB), which currently holds 89.787% of the company’s capital.
In October 2021, UFICO acquired Sanad Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of JKB established in 2016, providing a wide range of financial advisory services including lead managing stock and bond issuances, advisory services to companies and family groups, and offering financial investment opportunities.
In June 2022, UFICO acquired Al Mawared Brokerage Company (a subsidiary of Invest Bank) and raised its capital to JD 10.0 million, followed by the acquisition of The Arab Financial Investment Company in December 2022.
In November 2023, UFICO expanded further through the acquisition of EFG Hermes Holding Group in Jordan, and in June 2025, the company increased its paid-up capital to JD 21.16 million.
